Nordstrom - A reader writes that this store and one in The Somerset Collection Mall, “have family restrooms, women’s lounges as well as ‘mother’s’ rooms located inside the women’s restrooms near the children’s departments. In addition to the comfy seats they have wonderful changing stations built in with soft pads and a sink right next to them.”
Laurel Park Mall – Von Maur – A reader writes: “Von Maur at Laurel Park Mall, Six Mile Road in Livonia, Michigan has a very nice Nursing Room. They also have a family friendly bathroom with child size toilet and possibly sink too.”

The Somerset Collection Mall – A reader writes: “This is the very high-end mall in Detroit(Troy suburb) and it does not cater to children, but I have found that the Macy’s(in the North part of the mall…the mall is actually set up in two separate buildings connected with a skywalk) has a large lounge inside the women’s restroom. It has two couches and would be perfect for nursing. It is very clean and pleasant.”

Great Lakes Crossing Mall – The mall has three nursing rooms located inside each of the three family restrooms located in the food court, center of the mall and opposite end of the mall. The family restrooms are set up with a central lounge area with a couch for nursing and two changing tables (including one by a sink). The three bathrooms are
completely separate with full doors (not stalls). The rooms are kept clean. There are diapers for sale for $1. Keep in mind that because it’s a family restroom, men can enter with their daughters, but in general the room is private, quiet and nice.”
