September 23, 2009Storyland – A reader writes: “StoryLand in New Hampshire has nursing rooms at every bathroom. They are a small room to the left, sadly without a lock. But they have two rocking chairs, and a changing station. I visited these several times, and they were always free. Very clean, and a great quiet place to nurse- or even to get away for a few minutes of quiet time.”
Gatlinburg, TN
April 2, 2008Ripley’s Believe It or Not Aquarium – A reader writes that this attraction “has a nursing room in the bathroom by the entrance. (The only bathroom I saw, not sure if
there’s any others.) It was a very plain room inside the women’s bathroom, but there were 2 wooden rocking chairs, enough room for a few large strollers, and the door had a lock on it. There were changing stations outside of the room, in the bathroom, 2 of them, I
believe. This nursing station was nothing special, by no means, but I was still grateful for it.”
Dollywood - ” Dollywood listed a few areas on their attraction map. The second time
I went to find a place, It ended up being a closed off room in the bathroom with nothing but a wooden bench in it. Since I knew where a better one was located, I just took the longer walk to that one for the rest of the time there. The “Baby Care Station” on Showstreet was great! It’s a separate room decorated like a nursery at home might be,
with cute things on the wall. The room was heated, which was very nice in the cold winter weather. There were 2 gliders, a tiny kids table & chairs with toys & books, 2 changing tables with mobiles hanging overhead, and a sepearate closed off room with a toilet and sink. Also, a small table with a suggestion box on it! I was able to fit my rather large stroller, and even with other families in the room, I never felt cramped. I enjoyed the fact that I had to feed my daughter every 3 hours because it gave me a very comfy, relaxing break from all the craziness that comes along with the amusement park experience! The
rest of my group was quite jealous, I think! (I don’t know for a fact that the Showstreet station is the only one done up that nicely, because I only tried to visit 1 other nursing area while there.)”

King’s Island – Mason, OH
March 27, 2007King’s Island – A reader writes: Just inside the kiddie area (Nickelodeon Universe) is a little building shaped like a house. You can park your stroller outside, and inside find rocking chairs in a quiet room for nursing/feeding, and a separate diaper changing area.

The building was air conditioned, and I remember it being fairly clean.
The nursing area was quiet, but we were also there on a less crowded day.
There are other diaper changing areas in the park in restrooms, but I much
preferred the Baby Care Center.
For those who don’t mind nursing in public, there were plenty of benches
throughout the park, many of which are in out of the way areas for those
distractable babes.
Universal Studios – Orlando, FL
September 13, 2006Universal Studios - This amusement park has a nursing room described by a mother as “nursing nirvana.” She writes: The Studio had an amazing nursing room. I don’t remember exactly where in the park it was, but it was well labeled on their free map of the park/rides that you get as you enter. It had a couch, tv, and changing table in one room. The second adjoining room had a glider rocker, a night table with a lamp, a basket of childrens books, a DIMMER switch on the overhead light, and even a pillow with a disposable pillowcase. I thought I had found nursing nirvana! I applaud them and can only hope more nursing women will find this gem and others like it.
Please note this is at the Universal Studios Park, not at the Islands of Adventure.
Sesame Place – Langhorne, PA
August 29, 2006Sesame Place – I just received the following information from a mom who had a poor experience with the nursing stations at Sesame Place in May. I don’t know what worse: the condition of the stations or the fact that they ignored her letter.
We went to Sesame Place in Langhorne PA. in May. I was very disappointed. The map of the park claimed there were 3 nursing stations locations. The first nursing station on the map I could not find. I asked an employee near by & was told the one I was looking for was supposed to be somewhere in/near the ladies room, but people have told her it’s not there. She then pointed me in the direction of another nursing station. To my disgust it was a plastic chair behind a curtain IN the ladies room. I then tried the last station on the map. Only to get there & find I had to go to Welcome Center to get someone to meet me back at the nursing station to unlock the door every time I needed to use it. Though there were 2 stations at that location and it was a nice air-conditioned room with a sink, changing table, chair & rocker. It was to annoying to get someone to unlock it every time. Well, we won’t be going back again until we’re done BF after that. I did write a letter to SP but never received anything back.
Knott’s Berry Farm – Buena Park, CA
June 8, 2006Knott's Berry Farm – The baby changing station in Camp Snoopy has a small section closed off with curtains for nursing moms. There are two rocking chairs facing each other. However, on a recent visit it was dirty and not air conditioned. The microwave that was available was also old and dirty. ![]()
Please leave a comment if you visit and find better conditions.
Knoebel’s Amusement Park – Elysburg, PA
June 4, 2006Knoebel's amusement park – This park has a nursing room which is shaped like a caboose that has a changing table in it. It may be air conditioned.
Disney’s California Adventure – Anaheim, CA
June 3, 2006Disney's California Adventure – The baby care center is located next to the first aid station behind the big tanks for the Tortilla factory. The changing table room has 3 changing tables, and they are more like residential stand-up changing tables. There is only one potty in this room. There is a nice bit open room for nursing but it is not private. There is a curtained off area that is private, I assume it is for nursing and pumping.
. This baby care center also has a family bathroom (sometimes call assistance bathrooms) I always make sure to stop in here as it was easier that dealing with a regular one when I have my daughter with me. Like the one in Disneyland no strollers are allowed inside. This one also has a table with books and a tv that is usually playing cartoons. Mainly because this is also the Lost Children (or is that Lost Parent) area, whereas Disneyland has a separate Lost children area.
